Long workdays can take a significant toll on us and cause a number of daily disruptions, especially after we return home. Dr. Raafat Sayeh,
a psychiatric consultant, offers some tips for dealing with the everyday stresses of work:
.
Avoid talking about work problems when you get home, and try to change your surroundings by sleeping after you return home or watching something you enjoy
on TV. All of these things can help change your daily routine. Sayeh also suggests, according to Al-Youm Al-Sabea, “from time to time
Buy yourself something, even if it’s small, to add a little something to your day—such as a new T-shirt or another simple item that brings a bit of change to your life. These changes are important.
so you can break the daily routine you’ve grown accustomed to.”
.
Sayeh adds, “Another important tip for changing your lifestyle is to do some exercise in the morning before going to work. These activities can
help put you in a positive frame of mind and make you better able to handle the demands of your daily work.” In a study conducted by psychiatrists, they explained that people who lead conventional lives
are the ones who suffer from the pressures of daily work. Those who lead more varied lives, however, are better able to cope with the demands of everyday tasks. So try to stay organized
in your life, and don’t let work weigh you down, so you can avoid feeling exhausted at the end of the day.
