A good SEO strategy is optimized even if you don\u2019t rank first in Google Search (or even if you do),<\/span><\/p>\n

That way, your listing is still optimized to get people to click. In fact, it\u2019s best not to get too caught up in your page\u2019s actual ranking.<\/span><\/p>\n

After all, being first in Google search means nothing unless people want to click through to your website to learn more.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ll walk you through five steps you can take to improve your SEO.<\/span><\/p>\n

These steps will help you rank higher and encourage people to click your link <\/span><\/p>\n

compared with your competitors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure your website can be found.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Connect your website to a free tool called Search Console<\/a>. This tool helps make sure your website<\/span><\/p>\n

Connects to Google and also helps you monitor your performance in Google Search. Google is currently the largest search engine. <\/span><\/p>\n

Google and other major search engines are designed to find new websites, but this is by no means guaranteed.<\/span><\/p>\n

So it\u2019s important to take additional steps to make sure you\u2019re doing everything you can to improve your SEO.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assign a focus keyword to each page<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The more content you have, the more information Google has to crawl as people search for different things. <\/span><\/p>\n

FAQs are useful to add to a page. These can be general questions you think people<\/span><\/p>\n

will search for on Google. Be careful\u2014you don\u2019t want people to have to scroll through long paragraphs of text.<\/span><\/p>\n
