She went further, arguing that adopting a simplification strategy would make companies more productive and improve <\/span><\/p>\n job satisfaction as well.<\/span><\/p>\n It seems clear that management science is undergoing radical change and development. Ever since \u201cagile\u201d was brought <\/span><\/p>\n from software into business management, many ideas and strategies have emerged from time to time in the pursuit of <\/span><\/p>\n A different management style from the one used in the past\u2014one better able to adapt and respond to the demands of a fast-paced age. <\/span><\/p>\n \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0627\u0647\u0646.<\/span><\/p>\n .<\/p>\n Several years ago, the French sociologist proposed the \u201csynthetic approach\u201d as a way to try to understand the phenomena of the world around us, in the belief <\/span><\/p>\n that the interplay between disciplines and fields of science is the only way to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the world around us.<\/span><\/p>\n \n Although \u201cMorin\u2019s\u201d remarks may seem somewhat removed from our current argument, they point to a certain mindset\u2014one that believes in synthesis and enjoys <\/span><\/p>\n Add and build more than you subtract and remove.<\/span><\/p>\n Complexity is a trap, and many people\u2014including company executives and leaders of different teams\u2014think they\u2019re safe and in familiar waters <\/span><\/p>\n when they complicate their work and their arguments.<\/span><\/p>\n Lisa Bodell points to this trap, saying:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFear of making a wrong turn drives managers to complicate the lives of the people below them, while a flood of information <\/span><\/p>\n can prevent them from intuitively choosing the best option from those available.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n Although the cost of this complexity is enormous\u2014wasted time, depleted effort, exhausted customers, and more\u2014the strategy of simplification does not come <\/span><\/p>\n to exempt us from or save us from the trap of complexity. And we should recognize that by adopting a strategy of simplification, we go against the prevailing tide, <\/span><\/p>\n which is drawn to complexity and fascinated by it.<\/span><\/p>\n So, when it comes to companies and organizations, leaders, board chairs, and managers need to believe in the importance of <\/span><\/p>\n simplicity and the need to reduce and streamline steps\u2014in other words, to make simplicity a strategy. A company will lose a great deal if it doesn\u2019t <\/span><\/p>\n embrace this approach. One way to confirm this is to examine customer satisfaction levels at companies that overcomplicate things and drag out processes.<\/span><\/p>\n .<\/p>\n \n In the book mentioned earlier, Lisa Bodell identifies a set of key qualities that distinguish leaders and managers who believe in<\/span><\/p>\n the simplification strategy and have made it their guiding principle.
