\u2026But we\u2019ve all experienced this, without a doubt. While some people give up and lose their dreams and sense of self amid life\u2019s challenges, others <\/span><\/p>\n

face them and fight to their last breath\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are five incredible people who chose the second path and amazed us with their determination and love of life!<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think anyone is unfamiliar with Nick Vujicic, one of the world\u2019s most inspiring symbols of determination and perseverance. He has shown the world that true disability lies in the spirit, not the body, <\/span><\/p>\n

He has been able to reach for the highest skies with his dreams, without letting his disability hold him back or limit what he can achieve.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nick is a father of two and one of the world\u2019s most renowned speakers. He plays golf, reads, inspires people around the world and, most importantly, smiles, dreams, makes plans and continues on his path<\/span><\/p>\n

toward his dreams with confidence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nick says in one of his talks that when children stop him in the street and ask what happened to him and why he looks the way he does, he answers them with a smile and great simplicity <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCigarettes are the cause!\u201d Have you ever seen a positive outlook like this before?!<\/span><\/p>\n

with life. And without a doubt, he emerged victorious: Andrea managed to reach the hearts of millions around the world with his genuine emotion and determination to keep going<\/span><\/p>\n

measure. Canadian model Winnie Harlow developed vitiligo as a child and endured a great deal of ridicule and criticism. Today, she is one of the most famous and beautiful <\/span><\/p>\n

As a model, she showed strength and stood up to others instead of taking the easy option and hiding away. With her beauty and self-confidence, she captured the world\u2019s attention.<\/span><\/p>\n

She did so by starting to post photos on her Instagram account, which also caught the attention of some of the world\u2019s most famous fashion houses. They competed to sign contracts <\/span><\/p>\n

with her and claim this beauty for themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Madeline Stuart<\/span><\/h2>\n

Another example of strength and perseverance is 18-year-old Madeline Stuart. Madeline was born with Down syndrome, but that did not stop her from pursuing her dream of becoming <\/span><\/p>\n

a fashion model. She began losing weight and taking care of her appearance, then applied to many famous fashion houses. She was rejected several times, of course, but she never stopped <\/span><\/p>\n

trying. She eventually managed to sign with a women\u2019s sportswear company in the United States. She also recently took part in <\/span><\/p>\n

At New York Fashion Week, Madeleine\u2019s journey isn\u2019t over yet. More dreams and achievements are still within reach. What about you?<\/span><\/p>\n

Amy Bordi<\/span><\/h2>\n

Amy doesn\u2019t believe that limits hold us back. Instead, she sees them as what drives us toward our goals. At 19, Amy Purdy contracted a bacterial infection <\/span><\/p>\n

of the meninges, which cost her both legs below the knees, her kidneys, and the hearing in her left ear. Imagine being a young woman struck by all of this<\/span><\/p>\n

suddenly, without warning!<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no doubt that Amy was devastated. She went through some very difficult days, unable to see even a glimmer of hope for her future. Her dreams faded away, lost amid this strange new reality,<\/span><\/p>\n

So how could she ever snowboard again? How could she achieve her one and only dream with these prosthetic legs?!<\/span><\/p>\n

But Amy realized that no one but her could free her from this pain, so she persevered and bravely faced reality. She gradually began returning to her dreams and even made her own prosthetic legs <\/span><\/p>\n

so she could get back to ice skating. She returned to her life with a renewed spirit and iron will, becoming the 2011 world skating champion.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not all: Amy also co-founded a nonprofit organization to help people with physical disabilities take part in sports just like anyone else,<\/span><\/p>\n

In short, this young woman is absolutely incredible!<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, do you still feel held back? Do you still believe that life takes you wherever it wants, and that you\u2019re a victim of your circumstances and the people around you?<\/span><\/p>\n

Believe me, all of that is an illusion. Your real constraints lie within your own spirit, and you created them. Set yourself free, and remember: you have one life\u2026 one journey\u2026 that may end in <\/span><\/p>\n
