Giana achieved remarkable things in her project over the past year. But rather than resting on those achievements, she decided\u2014like many of her friends\u2014 \u0648\u0636\u0639 \u062e\u0637\u0629 <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

to achieve even more in the year ahead. She asked me to help her create a plan with ambitious career goals. Here it is,<\/span><\/p>\n

Get ready for a fresh start:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Finish the projects you\u2019ve been putting off and organize your workspace so you feel clear-headed and energized when you walk in. Make sure you have the conversations you\u2019ve been avoiding,<\/span><\/p>\n

so you\u2019ll feel much better once they\u2019re over.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assess your achievements:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Create a record of all your achievements over the past few years. Describe the measurable results of each success so you can celebrate them in your mind, and share these results with <\/span><\/p>\n

Take time to reflect:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Set aside time to reflect on your accomplishments and where you\u2019re headed. Ask yourself whether your goals and interests have changed over the past year. Does doing work you love <\/span><\/p>\n

mean something different to you now than it did last year? Also consider how your knowledge and skills have grown over the past year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Set goals for the entire year:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Write down your goals for the year ahead. Imagine celebrating a new victory this time next year. Identify the wins you\u2019re aiming for, and make sure your goals are achievable <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s an opportunity to investigate\u2014and it can be full of challenges, too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Identify areas for growth:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ask yourself where you want your business to grow so you can achieve your professional development goals. Work toward developing the qualities you want to build and the areas of<\/span><\/p>\n

expertise you want to strengthen\u2014anything that will help you get where you want to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consider who can support you on your journey, and make a list of people who have something to offer, along with other resources such as books and leadership courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you return from your vacation, it\u2019s important to keep your plan somewhere handy\u2014it can help a lot. You can also write a few notes and post them on the walls <\/span><\/p>\n

as reminders of your next steps. This can also help you stay focused. If you plan to attend a workshop, leave yourself a note; you can choose between three and<\/span><\/p>\n

five key growth areas you want to focus on, then post the note in your office to help you stay committed to your plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Make time to relax:<\/span><\/h2>\n

Give yourself time to relax, celebrate your wins with friends and family, and enjoy hobbies that enrich your life outside of work. Spend some time away from everything <\/span><\/p>\n
