10 May، 2018
Failure is not the opposite of success. It’s something to avoid, but it can also be just a setback on an important journey. Life is far too big to give up because of an early failure.
We’ve all faced—or will face—failure at some point in our lives. The problem isn’t failure itself, but how we deal with it.
In this article, we’ll share six post-failure success stories from inspiring, persevering people who went on to achieve unprecedented success, despite
having all endured bitter failure. They’re excellent examples to encourage and help you overcome setbacks, and keep failure from stopping you from reaching your goal
and shaping the future you envision.
.
“Arianna Huffington,” rejected by 36 publishers:

Can you imagine that one of the best-known names in digital publishing was rejected by 36 publishers?!
Yes, Arianna Huffington’s second book, which she tried to publish before creating the famous Huffington Post empire, was rejected
36 times before it was finally accepted. Even the Huffington Post itself showed no signs at the outset of the tremendous success it enjoys today,
having faced many negative opinions and criticism about its quality and ability to endure and move forward. But it is clear that
Huffington overcame those early obstacles and made its name as a pioneer in digital publishing.
.
“Bill Gates,” whose first company collapsed before his eyes:

Although his first company collapsed before his eyes, Bill Gates is now one of the richest people in the world—but he didn’t build his fortune the straightforward way.
His path to success wasn’t smooth. Gates entered the world of entrepreneurship with a company called Traf-O-Data, which aimed to manage and analyze
traffic tapes. He and his partner, Paul Allen, tried to sell the idea, but the product didn’t work as intended—it was a complete disaster.
But this failure couldn’t hold Gates back or stop him from looking for new opportunities. Just a few years later, he had introduced Microsoft to the world
with its first releases, creating a new path to success for himself.
.
“George Steinbrenner,” who caused an entire team to go bankrupt:

Before Steinbrenner made a name for himself by acquiring ownership of
The owner of the New York Yankees had previously owned an old basketball team called the
Cleveland Pipers in 1960. In 1962, following Steinbrenner’s directives, all the branches declared bankruptcy.
Apparently, the curse of failure continued to haunt Steinbrenner. When he took charge of the Yankees in the 1970s, the team continued to struggle,
suffering repeated defeats throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Despite this, and despite public concerns and criticism of
وجهت لقرارات
the controversial Steinbrenner, he led the team to a remarkable comeback, winning six consecutive World Series titles between 1996 and 2003, and it was recorded as the most
profitable team in Major League Baseball.
.
“Walt Disney” was said to lack creativity:

One of the 20th century’s most brilliant and creative minds was once fired from the newspaper where he worked for lacking creativity. Determined to prove otherwise, he worked hard
until he managed to establish one of the first animation studios, called
“Laugh-O-Gram Films.” He also raised about $15,000 in capital, but ultimately had to close the company after one of its key investors and partners withdrew.
A dreamer, but with no money—that was Walt Disney when he decided to move to Hollywood, where
he faced plenty of criticism and setbacks before his first films took off and earned widespread fame and acclaim.
.
“Steve Jobs” was fired from his own company:

“Steve Jobs” was one of the most important and influential entrepreneurs, known for his unconventional innovations and for his strong, courageous comeback from
A relentless failure: Jobs tasted success in his twenties, when Apple became an enormous, unparalleled empire.
But in his thirties, Apple’s chairman decided to fire him. Jobs didn’t dwell on that setback; instead, he founded another company,
called NeXT, which eventually joined Apple. When he returned to Apple, he proved his ability and talent by redesigning
the company’s logo and taking Apple to the next level.
.
“Milton Hershey” founded three candy companies before founding Hershey’s:

When Milton Hershey began making candy, he had nothing—in other words, he started from scratch. After being fired from his job as a printer’s assistant,
he started three separate candy ventures, only to watch all of them fail before his eyes.
As a last attempt, he founded the Lancaster Caramel Company, which initially achieved remarkable results and tremendous success. Believing in the vision that had long
occupied his mind—to produce milk chocolate and bring it to the masses—he founded the Hershey Company and became one of the most famous names in the candy industry,
especially in chocolate.
Finally, after sharing stories of success after failure, learn from them so you can draw strength during difficult times and understand that failure
is not the end of the world or the end of the road, as it may sometimes seem. Always remember that successful men and women enjoy their success today because, when they were
facing failure, they chose not to give in to it and saw it as just one step on the path to success.
.
Learn from your mistakes and accept failure. Strengthen your resolve, let your goals and dreams drive you forward, and most importantly, never give up.
